If you're in a traffic jam that spans within Tel-Aviv's borders, well, everyday excluding Saturday you've probably glanced at the sun-kissed billboards and spotted a model that encapsulates Parisian beauty and American tenderness. We've all seen Sonia Mell. We just never knew it, at least the people outside of the fashion and beauty industries. Sonia, a native Russian which made her way to Israel at the age of two always aspired to part of the fashion industry, fast-forward current day, expanded her lust towards success to an international dream.
Success in a form of three steps
Alon Ulman a former Israeli naval officer is an Israeli role model of success for the "type As" that dwell this country, equivalent to Bruce Jenner minus the gender transitioning. In his book entitled "Boundary Breaking" in Hebrew he discusses the process towards capturing your goals. Sonia connects to his simple philosophy of dividing your end-goal into three parts starting off with a realistic goal, afterwards lingers the middle ground goal and for conclusion the dream/ultimate goal. "Victoria's Secret is my ultimate goal, to live and prosper in New York City." Through out Sonia's career she's worked on campaigns with Magnum and Go Style Women's magazine, with dedication and little bit of luck Sonia hopes to star on billboards across the Hudson not just the Yarkon.
Being a native Israeli Sonia's day to day life is under the Beer Shevian sun with a layed back mindset with a twist of a call to arms feeling she gets when she's idling in bed pronounced "sovest" in Russian, literally meaning conciseness. During her off time she tends to under the sea diving and enjoys her fitness based lifestyle.

Have you ever stared into someone eyes for that long? Was what my philosophy proffesor told us during an aesthetics course after previewing Godfrey Reggio's 'Visitors'. Sonia's looks are striking, yet her eyes are even more unique. Look at them and ask yourself, what do you see? Yes her left eye has a splinter of brown, it's a uniqueness that can be amplified and saturated by some photographers.
